The Annual Adult & Child 2 x 25m relay will be held Tuesday Week, 13/12/16, along with our Christmas Party to mark the last club night of 2016. Pizza will be supplied by the club and we also ask that each family bring a plate of something to share.
As Time Trials will be done on the night to establish a time for the Handicapped Heats, entries do not have to be submitted beforehand.  Just turn up behind the start at the 25m pool to join in the fun.

The club will then be in recess until Tuesday 24th January, 2017.

We look forward to seeing lots of kids....and their care givers.....in the pool for the relay

See you at the pool....

WELCOME to season 2016-2017 and THANKYOU. We had a great start to the new season. We hope you enjoyed your night?

We were thrilled to have 42 Swimmers and 11 Optus Jnr Dolphins join us and we really appreciated the help that parents gave us with both programs, by timekeeping, cooking the BBQ, or ensuring that the NEW Under 7yrs program worked well.

We hope that you enjoyed participating in our Time Trials, and our FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE, and look forward to seeing you again next week.  Whilst we will still be conducting a TT program then, some events will be swum again and some different events will be on offer, including Backstroke in 25m and 50m with some additional 100m form stroke events, so we hope you can make it along.

The following week, with the assistance of our past season's Race Secretary, we will be commencing our "regular" Participation Pointscore and Trophy Handicap Events.  MORE INFO about this will follow in the next few days.

Well, the weather is warming up and you should have received an email inviting you to renew your membership. NEW members can register through the Swimming NSW Website.

We have ordered NEW CLUB SHIRTS, which will be subsidized by the club and presented to ALL SWIMMING MEMBERS.  NON-SWIMMING registered MEMBERS will also be able to purchase these for $30.00.  It is hoped that these will be available at the end of October. for presentation.

NO POOL or COMPETITION ENTRY fees are payable on club nights with that cost remaining part of your membership payments.

NEW this year will be the Junior Dolphins program, refer to emails sent previously, and RETURNING this year we are encouraging ADULTs to enter our Club Night events. Register as a Swimming Member and join in the fun alongside the rest of your family.

Unfortunately, Swimming Australia, Swimming NSW, Swimming North Coast and the Insurance Company have all raised their fees resulting in an increase in our club fees to;

JUNIOR DOLPHINS (7 yrs & Under Fun non-competitive program) = FREE

SWIMMERS = $140.00

NON-SWIMMERS = $30.00      (without a club shirt)

Please promote our club to all your friends.  We look forward to another fun, successful season and hope to see you at our FIRST Time Trial CLUB NIGHT on TUESDAY 11th OCTOBER from 6:00 pm.

Swimming NSW is proud that its online Timekeeping AND INSPECTOR OF TURNS Training Courses are now up and running. This new initiative is designed to help our volunteers quickly and easily gain the confidence and skills to help run a swim meet.

Our volunteers have told us for some time that one of the key barriers to them officiating in our sport is having the time to complete the necessary training. Now with the SNSW Online Courses interested individuals can complete the training where and when they want.

Once individuals have successfully completed the training they will receive a certificate to print out and take to their next Swim Meet so they can be assessed to become a fully accredited.

To view the course and other courses as they become available please visit the Swimming NSW training page here (https://nswtraining.swimming.org.au/)
